Francis Bacon at the Art Gallery of NSW

the same weekend i was up in Sydney for the Kapoor show, i also had the opportunity to view the Francis Bacon exhibit at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. another all-time favourite artist of mine, i was giddy when i first heard the announcement about these two exhibitions happening concurrently in Sydney.

the AGNSW is pedantic about taking pics inside the gallery, but i managed to sneak a couple of snaps of some of this painter's always compelling and very challenging works on show:
